  • Interview with Bass from Djevara

GR: Do you think there's too much emphasis on across the pond, rather than homegrown talent? (evidence - Download, probably about 75% American bands)
Bass: To some extent... but I also think that the argument is skewed. People tend to forget that- 1) America is much bigger (population), 2) America has a much, much larger percentage audience for rock music and hence promotional/development budgets are much bigger, 3) Even these bands are a small fraction of the total number of American bands. I think it all makes sense when you look at the numbers, BUT- I do think we have to take a lot of the blame ourselves; there is very little investment and interest in emerging heavy rock acts in the UK. The perspective that sees rock as "exclusively kid's music" has been very destructive"... I think this encourages short-term marketing and stuff.

  • Interview with Bernard

I like to think I have a rather healthy curiosity, my taste tends to reflect that, and is in itself rather disparate. As I produce as well, I tend to take different things from different artists. I refer to my stuff as either Electro acoustic or 'Slipper Core', its background music that slowly and hopefully moves to the foreground.

  • Interview with Renton

We met at a suburban Buddhist disco in Colindale, North London. We were the only people at the club who had hair and ended up gravitating to one corner of the venue for reasons of comfort and security. By pure coincidence, we discovered that we were more devout to music than to Buddhism and found ourselves in a rehearsal studio about a week later. Punk took precedence over the mantras. And it felt better when it was the four of us "doing it" together.

  • Interview with Benji Webbe from Skindred

We been spending a lot of time in our rehearsal space writing different ideas/ songs and they seem to be flowing think and fast, at the moment we are planning to write 20 songs and pick 10 for the album we got 7 songs close to finishing, a few of them we have slipped into our live set and they are going down killer, we to demo them as we write but we haven't started yet. I like the name PUNKSTAFARI but as you said it's just a working title for the album at the moment and there is no time on it to be released so dont rush us.

  • Interview with PDHM

    1. Firstly, to the uninitiated, describe PDHM and what you're about: (Lee + Ali) : A heavy Metal band born and bred on the old school 90's metal influence....with a sprinkling of melody, oh.......and we rock!
    2. What for you gives you the biggest satisfaction - recording new material in the studio or performing live and seeing how it goes down? Lee: Creating demon riffs and seeing the response in the live arena, after an initial idea in a dingy, little rehersal room.
